This is a Russian I wouldn't mind having on our team, maybe him fellow comrad Potatohead can really kick some butt for us. :D

The guys is 21 years old 7' 5" and has size, not a frail 7'+ like most you see. He had 7 boards in 18 minutes in the 1 game he played for the Mavs last season. I know we need size and man would he give it to us. The kid is still growing. He is listed at 260 on nba.com and 303 lbs on Hoopshype.

Should we give the guy a shot, I say heck yes. We need some more Russian NBA players for our large Russian/Ukrainian population here, not only that but the guy has lots of potential, is young, and is said to move well for his size. I think we should at least bring him into training camp and stop flirting with the PR and Doleac guys.

He was waived about a week ago....he can also thank Chad Ford who "discovered" him and woodwinked the Jazz into wasting a first round pick on him(they traded him to the Mavs). I think I heard he had a big deal to go back and play in Russia.

Saw him play in the last summer league game. Hard to judge from one game but he didn't impress me that much. He looked like a giant compared to the rest of the players on the floor. Doesn't handle the ball much, which tells me he's probably a turn over machine when he does. Didn't see any decent post moves. Actually faked Williams to get by him on one play and hesitated before going to the basket allowing Williams to recover and block the shot. I vote no....
