Well, I haven't been a fan for quite as long as VF, but I've been a fan of the Kings for going on seventeen years now, and I've never lived within 500 miles of Sacramento.

... How can we seriously believe you were a diehard fan all these years? And for the record, I said I wouldn't give up on this team until they finished the season without a playoff appearance because that aint ever gonna happen. I don't believe they will ever miss the playoffs with the maloofs as owners and petrie as GM.

Never say never..this from a die-hard, long-time Laker fan. (Been a Laker fan for 30+ years...you can believe that or not, I don't care.) From the finals to the lottery in one year...am I STILL a die-hard fan?? You bet!! If a season without the playoffs would make you give up on your team..then I guess you're not really that big of a fan in the first place. IMHO
