Congrats Boogie! First All-Star Game

Another reason to like Adam Silver.

That just leaves Damian Lillard as an inexcusable all-star snub. Outside of a slight dip in 3pt% Lillard's numbers are better across the board this year compared to last year when he made the all-star team.

He had the most important ear with him, the one who made the ultimate decision, in India. We don't know if he did or didn't. I was just glad he was recognized by both the league AND the owner.

Not as great as if he was selected originally but I'll take it. Glad Boogie gets to go be where he belongs. Way to go Boogie! Thanks Silver! Way better commissioner than Stern.

I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY RIGHT NOW. I may actually watch the nba all star game. Who was our last representative, peja in 2006?


But I need to vent for a minute. The nba needs to change how they set up their roster. No disrespect to the all-time great tim duncan, but how are you going to let a guy who scores 9 less points and gets 3 less rebounds per game in the all star game? (and they roughly have the same shooting percentage) Demarcus is 5th in the league in scoring and 3rd in rebounding. This is 2nd year in a row where boogie got snubbed. And I feel bad for Lilliard since they picked westbrook over him. Westbrook played in 1/3 less games, and yet, he gets the nod.

With that said, i feel like christmas came early for me!!!!!
 
On another note, I wouldn't be surprised to see him be MVP of that game. A motivated Boogie is a beastly Boogie. Just need to get him the ball enough. Hard when guards usually dominate the ball in these settings, but Boogie's ability to handle the ball and lead the break will help him.

Be about right.

2004 = the Peja year. He was never the same after. Miller made it that year too. Webb's knee was gone by then. Neither Ron nor Kevin nor Bibby ever made it. So 11 years in the cold.

Congrats to DMC!

Adam Silver is the Man!

He saw who was dominating the NBA big men and he made the pick of DMC, despite the Kings woeful record. I'm sure it was not an easy decision, considering Lillard was still out there on a very good Portland team.

His FG% has been awful last 10 or so games, probably a reason why.
