Was it a Conspiracy?? Doubt it. Will these guys remember this game later on? Bet on it. Not only are they bad refs, but now they have a reason to be mad at us. Officials: #7 Bernie Fryer , #40 Leon Wood , #46 Matt Boland

No it wasn't a conspiracy. The refs for the NBA are IMO the worst in any professional sport. With that said it's hard for 80 year old guys to keep up with the pace of 20-30 year olds running a court.

Also don't forget:

John Grey, Parnell Jackson, Greg Hopper, Lou Pinker, Val Thomas, Chris Stevens, Quinn Buckson, Larry Buford, and Nathanial Smith.

You're so right. I have long believed the NBA has the worst officials. They are the most inconsistent and prone to pressure from special "super stars." Shaq gets calls and non calls no other player would get. Same with Bean Bryant. When have you ever heard of a make up call in the NFL or MLB?

I think the three major sports really get cheap when it comes to officiating. Get some younger guys out there, make them professionals and hold them accountable. Fans fork over big $$$ for their team they deserve a consistant playing field.

[all that said it would have been nice to see Brad dunk that]

s a Spurs fan I love it when King's players complain about refing rather than the mistakes they made. Pop would ream his players a new one for focusing on. complaining publically or probably privately at least to him, about a possible missed call rather than focusing on the many mistakes they made, that they had control of that would have changed the outcome of the game. Pop would have chewed Mobley a new one on the spot for not getting back on D after the three with Amare getting a runnout. King's as victims. Keep it up.
