[NBA] Comments that don't warrant a thread (OCT)

Dallas might want to have an actual plan for their point guard position beyond “have Cooper try to play it until Kyrie hopefully gets back” because it’s going to be an ugly season for them otherwise.

Don't suggest that to Nico...He might ship Cooper out for a bunch of random pieces (that obviously include a point guard).

Theo Ratliff has twins that just committed to USC. I don’t know if they are nba caliber considering they are 4 star but another set of twins that could make it to the league is wild to me. 3 percent of births are twins.

One of the things that bugs me about his deification is that nobody likes to talk about how Jordan never even got out of the second round until after all his rivals either aged out and/or were diluted by back-to-back expansion seasons. He never beat the Pistons until after expansion broke them up; he technically never did beat the Celtics, they just got old and faded away. We'll never know if he could have beaten the gd lakers before Cap retired, because he never got that far, but there's no reason to believe he could have.
ok I definitely wasn't going to cite my list of reasons but a watered-down NBA is definitely at the top. The East was stacked before he ever got out of it, but not so great by the time he started winning rings. And the West didn't yet have Shaq/Kobe, Kings, Duncan Spurs, and one of the few consistent Euro imports in the league - which is ultimately how the league got out of the expansion talent gap - was on his team.

This may be a tasteless thought but I wonder if IVF and gene selection are involved.

Pacers apparently fine without Tyrese and Myles. (Also helps OKC is missing like three rotation guys too.)

Pacers are also really small without Turner on their roster.

Which part was negative?

Just hate that he can push off yet you can’t touch him and the icing on the cake is sort/cauros playing prison rules on there end. Siakam was getting fouled time and time again no call
The "Negative" was in response to your assumption that this was the first time that a team had more free throws than field goals.

Welp, Warriors are back. Looks like a 55 win team to me. Okc, Denver, Golden State, Houston are all going to win 50 plus health permitting. San Antonio, Clips, Minnesota probably rounds out the top 7 in some order. The leaves Memphis and LaL Dallas, Portland and maybe the Kings in the mix just below that.

Will be interesting to see what happens with LeBron, I don’t think he finishes the season in LA.

Kings are likely going to find themselves in a position to sell at the deadline and land in the top 10 in the draft.

Yesterday: The Kings are terrible! Worst team in the league!
Today: The Kings are in the mix for the final play-in spot!
Tomorrow: CHAMPIONSHIP, BABY!!!

Like sand through the hourglass, so are the days of Kings fans' lives...:):):)

Yeh I think that most projections before the season had the Kings somewhere in the 10-12 range. Loss aside that is probably still the most likely but with the injuries and the rough early schedule we might be in a hole we can’t climb out of and finish below everyone outside of the Jazz. It’s likely going to be a tough year, hopefully fans can find a way to have fun here and there.

When was the last time

Sure helps that Kuminga plays defense and is a passer all of a sudden

watching FTA shoot 20+ free throws is snooze worthy but the game was still delivering the goods when he wasn't foul baiting. Mathurin looking like he will have a huge season with more touches and volume. I'm also liking Denver's bench improvement bringing back Bruce, adding Beal, Val and Hardaway Jr. and trading for Cam Johnson. They will give the Thunder a good run in May
