[NBA] Comments that don't warrant a thread (OCT)

Dallas might want to have an actual plan for their point guard position beyond “have Cooper try to play it until Kyrie hopefully gets back” because it’s going to be an ugly season for them otherwise.

Don't suggest that to Nico...He might ship Cooper out for a bunch of random pieces (that obviously include a point guard).

Theo Ratliff has twins that just committed to USC. I don’t know if they are nba caliber considering they are 4 star but another set of twins that could make it to the league is wild to me. 3 percent of births are twins.

One of the things that bugs me about his deification is that nobody likes to talk about how Jordan never even got out of the second round until after all his rivals either aged out and/or were diluted by back-to-back expansion seasons. He never beat the Pistons until after expansion broke them up; he technically never did beat the Celtics, they just got old and faded away. We'll never know if he could have beaten the gd lakers before Cap retired, because he never got that far, but there's no reason to believe he could have.
ok I definitely wasn't going to cite my list of reasons but a watered-down NBA is definitely at the top. The East was stacked before he ever got out of it, but not so great by the time he started winning rings. And the West didn't yet have Shaq/Kobe, Kings, Duncan Spurs, and one of the few consistent Euro imports in the league - which is ultimately how the league got out of the expansion talent gap - was on his team.

This may be a tasteless thought but I wonder if IVF and gene selection are involved.
