You lost me at Lavine.
He reminds me of Fox. Similar in how he is capable of being really good but decides to COAST for MOST of the game before he's thinks "Oh yeah, I need to make sure to get my 20 pts real quick." ~80% lazy.

interesting. Could this impact trades with Kings? Kind of a bad time to fire your decision maker unless they don’t plan to make major moves
I definitely see that as impacting any rumored Kings trades. yikes.
I don't think so. My assumption is Masai probably hasn't been making decisions for awhile. I certainly don't know why an org would allow him to select a top 10 pick, only to fire him a day later.

Depends on which way they want to go. Some favorites of Masai could become available. It's an opportunity for sure.

I wonder where he ends up. My best guess he takes an advisory role and then waits for an expansion team if that happens in 2 years.

Yeah but my head cannon that the Raptors saw Masai pick another long tall forward who can’t shoot and finally had enough is more entertaining.
He should go to Utah and work overtime with Ainge to overvalue every player and make sure every trade is a walk off grand slam.

Being the GM of an expansion team would have a lot of appeal especially in Seattle. On the Simmons podcast the other day they proposed Seattle offer Presti a percentage of the team to return. Here’s a 100 million dollar contract and 2 percent of the team. He would have to say yes.

I was watching KG and the Truth discuss this last night and they make good points. Excuse the language here, KG can't help himself but here goes
I then immediately thought of Russ and his sand training and how despite playing 17 years, he's been able to recover from his injuries at a rapid rate and remain incredibly athletic even after playing so long. this video demonstrates it nicely.
