Plus a front line of D12, Hedo and Rashard isn't exactly the easiest to match up with.
 
Mike Brown is really showing his true colors as a coach. And Mo Williams is showing his true colors as a scrub-turned-all-star-turned-scrub.

I feel the Cavs can still push it to game 7 if LeBron just gets one guy, just one, to help him out a little. It doesn't matter who. If he can have one guy score in the 18-22 range, they get a win. I'm talking game 6 here, as there is no way in hell Cavs lose game 5.
 
This series has just shown how crappy Lebron's supporting cast is. The Cavs are all role players who rely on getting easy looks due to the extra attention Lebron gets.

When you think about it, is the Kings roster that much worse than the Cavs roster minus Lebron?

well, he got williams and west scoring 18 and 17, respectively. actually, this was the best game the cavs have played in this series. but still, they lost. i very much doubt they get another good game from those two guards in the coming one or two games.

magic in 5 is very probable.

Yeah I agree here. People are forgetting that without possibly the greatest shot of this century in Game 2, this series is already over.

Good to see you around! I know you're loving this series, especially how well Hedo has grown into the player you always said he would be.

well its certinaly up to LeBron's sad little teammates and coaches at this point, because there basically is nothing more he can do. That's probably not a great sign for the Cavs. Somewhat interesting and discouraging on the will LeBron stay or will he go front too -- if you are a superduper All Time star and just put together one of the most dominant postseasons in the NBA for decades and your team still gave you almost no support and you fall short...how frustating must that be? And how likely to get one thinking of greener pastures.

These are LeBron's averages in this series:

42.3pts 7.3rebs 7.3 ast on .531 shooting. And he's losing.

once again it is proven that basketball is a team sport...

wont matter if you score 50 ppg if your team mates only score a sum of 20 or 10 ppg

lebron is good but he needs at least a scorer beside him..
 
All depends on the 3s for the Magic. So if they stunk it up two games with their 3s this series can be tied up.

I wanna see Lebron beat Kobe.
 
its mike browns fault for playing super smallball.... west is not tall enough to guard hedo and lebron should not be guarding alston. he should be playing wally and pavlovic together instead at sg and sf when the bench is in. or atleast in the same game, playing one player per game isnt working.

Those stats are insane. I think this series is going to force the Cavs to find another star to pair with Lebron or he will be on the outs in 2010 FA. The series has proven yet again that it's Lebron and a band of misfits in Cleveland.

The Cavs have too many role players that can only do one thing. Ben Wallace, Varajeo and Joe Smith are all good defenders/hustle players but liabilities on the offensive side of the ball. Big Z is old and slow, West and Williams are role players with inflated stats that don't show up when the pressure is on.

Winning a ton of regular season games is one thing, but they need another big time player if they want to win a championship.

I think they need a big man - Chris Bosh anyone?
 
im sick of the media talking about how cleveland isnt playing well and mo needs to step up. they have played great all season AND in the playoffs. orlando is just proving to everyone that they are the best team in the east. and theyre doing this without jameer nelson. i really hope he returns if they make it to the finals.

That’s what happens when a player guarantees a win – not just any win, a series win. Mo Williams hasn’t been making his shots and has been playing off and then he goes to make that statement. I knew nothing good could come from his comment.

But wow, Lebron really kept them in game. Impressive. The bad: he did have 7 crucial turnovers at the 4th and his teammates really haven’t pulled their weight. I can’t wait to see how the Cavs respond in the next game.

Off topic: As much as I like to see Lebron in a Kings uniform, I want to see him stay in Cleveland. Hopefully he won’t leave during ’10.
 
Mike Brown should be fired after this game, even if the Cavs win. This "team" plays worse than they played 2 years ago.

I think we should get rid of the "Coach of the Year" Award. Its a joke. Mike Brown will probably be fired after this season if they lose this game. If not this year, next year. There is a difference between being a good coach and having super star players on your team like Brown and Avery Johnson.

If not get rid of it they should at least make it work by taking into account different things other than having the most wins. They should take into account things like "most game winning plays" and success through adversity such as injuries/suspensions ect... I honestly think Rick Adelman was by far the coach of the year this year especially after what he did in the playoffs.
 
SVG has out-coached Mike Brown so far in this series. Adelman was COY easily this season but I agree the award is a joke. It might be relevant more if it was voted after the playoffs.

Incredible series and I'm very glad it's not over yet. Lebron James isn't going to go quietly into that good night...

I honestly don't think the Cavs can win in Orlando. Tonight was the first time since the miracle shot that Lebron has played like he's wanted it more than the Magic.

And quite honestly, they blew a 22 point lead again tonight and the only reason they escaped was because Lebron realized he had to step up coupled with D12 fouling out, and Gibson & Varejao contributing.
