And we're getting down to the real nitty-gritty. Here's the poll...

And yes, I know the game between Orlando and Boston technically isn't over.

Let's Go Cavs!

Cavs vs Lakers is definitely how the league wants it, but let's not throw Orlando under the bus here--sure they've underachieved like the Lakers in having trouble dispatching an injury-laden Celtics team and an average Sixers team, but I think they're starting to get the hang of it. Dwight will put up his numbers, but there's no one to stop LeBron here--Courtney Lee and Mickael Pietrus are good defensively but give up height and strength, so they're just overmatched. But their starting lineup is good, and in the playoffs with compressed lineups, if things click, it might just work. But Cleveland's just rolling right now...so Cavs in six.

Dwight Howard doesn't dominate like he should. He should be the beast of the east, not LeBron. I mean look at Howard, he could squash King James, he's got a ton of talent and is probably the finest physical specimen in the league.

Because Howard is such a nice guy, James will should lead his team to victory fairly easily.

If Turkoglu can play the way he did in game 7, then the Magic have a chance to win this series. Howard will get his numbers, especially against the much slower Z. Turkoglu and Lewis are the keys to this series (well, keys to the Magic I guess). One thing they do is keep the Cavs best rebounder (Varejao) out on the perimeter

I picked Cavs in 6, even though I think it's a cop-out pick. But I think the Cavs hold serve at home, the Magic hold serve in 3 and 4, and the Cavs take the next two. Sucks for them because they haven't finished off a single series on their home court, but that's what I think is going to happen.

Nine Orlando turnovers compared to zero Cavs turnovers. Big disadvantage for the Magic against the best team in the NBA.

LeBron cannot do it himself, and tonight his teammates looked every bit the mediocre unworthies they do on paper. Yet for all fo that, they lsot the game on defense and I think this one might be one Mike Brown -- there is simply no way, none, that you should have Varejao out there on that final possession tryign to check Lewis. Teh Magic needed a three -- only way they can beat you. And you have two lumbering bigs in there on defense. Just inexcusable. Not even as if Howard was still in the game to represent an inside threat.

Both game 1s were lost by their coaches. This one with Brown keeping in Varejao, and the Lakers game with Karl picking 6 foot Anthony Carter as his last possession trigger man.

wow lebron is beastly that pass to west was awesome!

There shouldn't have been a pass to West to hit that go ahead 3. Lebron traveled before he threw it.

Unless the Nuggets are going to take out the Lakers, I'm cheering for Lebron because I think he's got the best shot of keeping Kobe from winning a title. But I still enjoy the underdog overcoming pretty atrocious officiating down the stretch in the Cavs' favor to pull off an upset. As others have mentioned, the Magic owe Mike Brown a debt of gratitude.

Magic were 2-0 vs the Fakers. Cavs were 0-2.

Gotta love LBJ though...amazing tonight.

jesus christ all the lebron haters (mostly kobe fan boys) come out and started talking **** about the cavs on this other forum im on.im not worried though cavaliers still got this.

LeBroncules with 49,6,8,2,2 in a LOSS?!?!!?

...Methinks Kobe and the Fakers are doomed either way. If he has a bad game tomorrow against the Nuggets its probably because he watched the game tonight and decided its pointless haha

To be fair to Karl, the Nuggets were out of timeouts, so he may have had little to do with it. Still not sure why Carter was even on the court though

Wow what a game 1! I didn't get to see it unfortunately but I saw the highlights and I tell you what - The Magic are confident and ready to send a message, and in game 1 they accomplished that.

The Cavs not being able to close out Orlando at home says alot about where that team's mentality was tonight. Once they got up by 16, they thought they were still playing the Pistons and Hawks.
