Remember that urban legend about Arco being built atop an old Indian burial ground? It must have extended beneath the Training Facility, too.

I'm more interested in knowing HOW this happened. I'm sure we remember all the initial stories about how Ostertag hurt his hand until the truth about him tripping over a box in the middle of his living room came to light...
I swear we must be the team with the most unexpected injuries. Ostertag tripping and falling in the dark at home and breaking his hand. Brad breaking a leg going up for a lay-up in practice. Now exploding physioballs. Other, too, that I can't remember. Weird.I'll bet exploding workout ball wasn't in your top ten list of ways to get hurt!
Just heard on the radio, that the physio-ball popped, and he tried to brace himself as he was falling to the floor and shattered his forearm. He is having surgery tomorrow.
And yes, I saw Cisco as the only SF option who could help out a struggling ballhandling tandem in Reke/Kevin. Now about the only way to do it is to take advanatge of Beno's size and play him some at OG next to Reke. But then, whereto Kevin? And don't tell me to SF (next to Beno no less) or I will vomit.
I thought we already decided that Tyreke was backup up Hawes.Tyreke is a pretty big dude with long arms. im sure he can guard most SF's in the league. So we could play Beno Martin Tyreke at the same time and not really have defensive problems.
I thought we already decided that Tyreke was backup up Hawes.
Come on, what's the point of moving him to his worst position, if we end up having Beno as our starting PG. Don't we have enough SF's still, that we can keep Tyreke at the 1 or 2.
Been thinking about this for a little while prior to Cisco breaking his arm. To my mind, the only player with a long team contract that doesn't really fit as part of the rebuild is Nocioni. Simply because of his age. Yeah, I know that Mason is older, but he only has a one year contract. So if you remove Noc from the equation, that means at the moment the long term fix comes down to either Greene or Casspi.
Greene has one year of NBA experience for what thats worth, and Casspi has four years of professional experience in europe. On appearence alone, Casspi looks more experienced on the floor. In two preseason games he made the most of his minutes and made a difference in the game. Granted, Greene didn't play in the second game, and maybe there's a reason for that. Maybe not. But in the first game Greene didn't play badly, but he did little to impact the game. That could also be said for all of last season.
So I would be fine with starting Casspi. Portland worked Batum into their starting lineup last year and did just fine. Mason can back up the SG position and the SF position. I will admit that the outside shooting would suffer with Mason at the SG position, but the defense would improve. I'm sure there would be some hicups along the way, but it could be worth it to get a year of experience under his belt.
Casspi reminds me of Ginobili in style of play. He'll give you nightmare's on occasion, and then bring you out of your seat pumping your fist in the air. And please, I'm not saying he's the next Ginobili. I'm simply comparing how they play the game. With reckless abandon. It'll drive you nuts at times, but it is exciting to watch. And if you can't win enough to go to the playoffs, then exciting to watch isn't bad.![]()

Ummm, Donte makes 1.4 turnovers for each assist. Omri makes 2.75 TO/A, easily the worst ratio on the team.
I'm not saying I'd start Donte over Omri, but if you want low turnovers, Omri's definitely not the guy you're after.
