We need some sort of shot blocking presence on this team.. The Birdman is available.. Should we pick him up?...

Is there any cheaper shot-blocker in the market better than the Birdman?
If none and Petrie wants him, we better bid on him now and before Petrie get us another midget PG or SF. Maybe with a shotblocking BIG watching the Kings this upcoming season will be a lot more exciting.
It doesn't sound that bad according to his lawyer.
NO, no and no. If the only consideration was on court ability you are still looking at an aged bip becoming more injury prone who only does two things well (Block and board) his passing is horrible and he seems to have no real head for the game, just jump and see what he gets. So you might take him IF you could him him cheap except as the saying goes "you can't have Falstaff and have him thin." Anderson was actually kicked out of the league for drugs, he has had repeated suspensions for dirty test and other bone head moves and is pretty much universally held at a distance by his teammates. He was suspended during the play offs after accusations of child pornography surfaced. Although this may have been a shakedown it's the position he puts himself in. Just say no to the Bird.
Yes... IF they are dependable. My point is you take a risk for guys that have more to offer. You take NO chance for a guy that not only is an availability risk AND could turn your locker room into a bad episode of My Big Redneck Wedding.isnt that what you want in a 4/5th big? if he could do that as well as pass and shoot, he would be starting
It will be a big mistake if Petrie won't somehow try to get this guy. No one is available with the same skills and can be had cheaper than Birdman. Nevermind the off the court baggage. We are not building a choir. We want to add some more nasty defense in our team.
I actually would want to start this guy next to Cousins if we get him. He is an almost perfect front court complement and at the right price we can afford. Plus, he is white and he will be fan-favorite just like Jimmer whom a lot of fans want to succeed despite the obvious.
Starters:
C- Cousins (6' 11")
PF- Birdman (6' 10")
SF- T-Rob (6' 9") or JJ (6' 8")
SG- Salmons (6' 6") or Thornton (6' 4")
PG- Evans (6' 6")
We will be watching the Kings come playoffs time if these guys can work hard with a common goal which is to WIN.

Exactly how I see it. Anderson has WAY too much baggage to even be considered for the Kings. The Maloofs learned their lesson about grabbing "damaged goods" players with Ron-Ron. I seriously doubt if they would sign off on that kind of gamble again.
