Chauncy Billups

He will be waived now that the Knicks signed Chandler. Would you sign hm for $5-$7 million for 3 years? I believe he would bring a great leadership presence to this young team.

The only reason I would take him would be just to make him cry even more than he has been doing. I would then give him a diaper for a uniofrm, stick a pacifier in his mouth, and let him watch from the end of the bench.

If I actually thought he could be a big part of a championship puzzle, then I'd bid the very minimum (if there even is a minimum) to sign him, just to prevent him from joining up with one of the big market teams.

If we obtained him, and he wanted to be a mentor, great, and if not, he can stay at home.

But in all honesty, I don't really think he's got enough in the tank to really make much of a difference.
Bibby just signed a one year deal with the Knicks, and just in watching him play for the Heat in the post-season, he's pretty much done too.

If we were going to bring in a vet PG, I'd want it to be someone who's been around, but not someone who is late to realize that their time has mostly passed them by.

My sentiments exactly! Just to shut up this whiney little ***** I would bid for him and let him sit at the end of the bench whining....thats if I was a billionaire but Maloofs can't even afford to spend money to address the needs, let alone to make a point! :D
