Celebrations, celebrations

I've reached my goal weight on the Weight Watchers program!! I finally lost all 33 extra pounds. It feels good, and I look great, I must say! I want to go out and buy a bikini now. In fact, I just might have some pictures taken of me wearing it and then post them here! ;)

Okay, soooo j/k on that last part about the pics. But anyway, I wanted to start this thread not just for me, but for everybody else too who also has some kind of recent celebration, accomplishment, goal reached, good thing happened, etc., however big or small, serious, wacky, etc. So please, post away!!

On Wednesday, my collegiate golf team just broke the school record by shooting a combined 19 under par. Old record was 16 under par.

I got a great job performance review today in the job I've had 6 months.

And I close escrow on the house in my new location tomorrow!

(This is after deciding to leave a job of many years that had gotten utterly soul-destroying for anyone who took pride in their work or had an iota of integrity.)

Congrats RoyalDiva. I've been there and know how hard that is! A toast to your good health!

Congrats, kennadog!! That's great news on both fronts.

I'm actually going to get to spend this Mother's Day with my mother! It's the first time in years since she moved to NY a while ago. Not only that but I've been witnessing to my mom for a while now and it looks like it is working. :)

That dreadful pine branch that blocked my satellite signal during rain, snow or even wind, mysteriously fell off the tree sometime yesterday. Imagine my surprise when I went out this morning to get my Sunday Bee and saw it lying there on the ground...

I finished my homework. Yay!!

Now I'm free to...

wait a tick...

hmmm, I cleared my schedule and don't have plans tonight...

Seems I'm free to sit here and be bored all night.

Yay?

Here's my reason to celebrate! I'm so happy that my family is coming to visit me this weekend. My brother just arrived with military leave from the Navy last night, and my mom is flying in on Sat. This is also the Sunday that I performing in church, so they get to see that as well. My brother would normally not attend church otherwise, so hopefully this will be a great opportunity for him to be inspired by it and to seek the Lord.

127 lbs, only 17 more to go. Blood pressure is down to 95/63 - I might actually be a little overmedicated. I'll talk to Dr. G. about when I see him next week.

And I'm really glad Hell Month is over.

Have been donating blood off and on for years - trying to be more diligent about it. Think I just passed the 2 gallon mark with my most recent doantion.

I encourage everyone to do the same, if you can. Doesn't take long and you could help save a life or two.

Wow, that is awesome! Can I have some of your willpower? Anyway, I have been on some BP medications too lately and it went down to about 102/63. I got scared but my doc says I'm fine.

Nice to hear everyone's got good things going on, as for me? Well, considering how my life has been at times I'd say even right now is a time to celebrate.
