Casspi's NBA life changing in year 2

I had already read this article, and reading the second time didn't clarify it for me any better. Obviously a lot of contradictions by Casspi. I have to feel that some of it is his lack of complete command of the english language. I got the feeling that at times he just wasn't expressing himself the way he wanted to. At least I hope so..

I'll try to get into his head and meaning according to my knowing of him.
Casspi is a good and smart person. In his first year in the NBA he simply tried to do the right thing for everyone- for his team, for the kings fans, for his family and also for jewish communities everywhere- who admire him as a symbol of excellence, devotion and determination - and rightfully so.
He tried to keep everyone content and not let anyone down, which is very hard for a young man in his first NBA season, an organization which cannot compare to anything else. As the year progressed, he simply became mentally and physically exhausted from his duties, obligations and demands, basketball and non-basketball oriented, by all the many important factors which surrounding him. This was a heavy load laid on his shoulders in a very short time.

But at the bottom line, the 2nd year is a different story. He learned and as he stated, he knows he is here to play basketball. That's his first commitment and now that his first year is behind him he will make the proper adjustments to make better decisions, and the right decisions for his team (which necessarily involves cutting down with activities that are not related to basketball).

Omri is a learner and is a smart kid, he knows he'll survive by his basketball and I'm sure he will keep his mind focused on how to make his team better and evolve as a player. Personally, I am interested in seeing how good as a basketball player he can become.
