There is serious resistance to George Karl possibility from some Kings minority owners too. Lead owner Vivek Ranadive hearing from all sides
Hearing it from all sides? I thought he was majority owner... and the boss. F*** everyone else (including Cousins and his camp) and hire the guy YOU want. You paid for the team, not Cousin's camp. No one player should be above the organization and the potential to move forward, not even Cousins (and I love the guy).

It's time to nut up or shut up Vivek. This has gotten so out of hand that 50 years from now when people study how to run a business, we will be example 1 of what not to do.

There is just too much crap to sift through right now.

The Minority owner thing might be a complete smokescreen to try and keep Cousins happy. Blame it on faceless 'minority owners' to take the heat off Cousins camp because this thing has gone to hell.

The Cousins camp thing is still absurd. I see a lot of folks making the distinction between Cousins camp and Cousins himself. "His camp doesn't want Karl, Cousins would be OK with it". We don't know that.

That's not really how it works. Agents are paid to be punching bags. They will make it look like it's them and not Cousins because that is what they are being paid for. I'm not saying that can't actually be true, but it does seem unlikely that Cousins himself won't even get on the phone with Karl because Fegan said so. The point being, if Cousins doesn't want Karl, his camp is going to take the blame for it 100 times out of 100. They would never put that back on him, or they wouldn't be his agents anymore.

This is just another PR disaster for the franchise, and another huge black Mark on this front office. Assuming the deal never was and never will be.
Leadership means something. And if Vivek is THE LEADER among leaders he will straighten this pathetic mess out promptly and heads will roll because of it - not just poor Ty Corbin's.

I think this is his style. He prays for concensus but I suspect in the end he knows it's his decision.

While I agree with this, it only works in a perfect world. If cousins doesn't go along with hire ( Im not saying he is the reason stopping hire or if rumors are true or not) and shuts down, the team will continue to spiral down and if he wants out publicly we won't get as much from a trade if other teams know he wants out. We need the star and coach to be on the same page.

Again this is just a general statement. I'm not saying dmc is or is not the reason for Karl not hired yet.

It depends very much on which minority owners are objecting to Karl. If they are Richmond and Shaq that's different than two others.

If Mitch is that close to Mullin it's up to whether or not Mullin has much pull with Richmond I guess. As for Shaq, I bet Shaq couldn't even name more than 2-3 players on this team. He's only signed up to get his foot in the door so he can eventually buy a team for himself.

Yes, but Cousins has no history with Karl (negative or positive). It seems that the problem stems simply from those around Cousins. Regardless, if Cousins does NOT have a problem, then the agents have no power as they can't force Cousins to demand a trade or whatnot. That's rather weird is it not? If Cousins does not have a problem, then how come the agents have so much power in all of this? Unless Cousins IS the reason Karl will not be hired. Something is off. Cousins has to be told that he is not a GM and he will have to listen to the coach with 1,100 wins to his name.

Cousins says he wants to win. Karl, for all his faults, has won a LOT of games. What in the world is holding this up?

Gotcha.
