Um, Woj also reported it was a done deal with the Kings going to Seattle. Woj deals in rumors and leaks from people like agents, team towel boys, disgruntled fired employees, etc. Where do you think he gets his info?

Woj was correct in his reporting. It was a done deal between the Magoofs and Hansen about moving the Kings to Seattle. He was the first one to report it. Woj has good inside NBA knowledge. Credibility has never been an issue with him, and I honestly can't see how it would be now.

A lot of people thought the FO was too stupid to consider Karl for any coaching positions. Most people thought they didn't even consider Karl because of their own high egos. Months later, we find out that they've wanted Karl all along. Everything matches up exactly what was said months ago with reports saying it was Cousin's camp/agent that didn't want Karl here. We now find out that Cousins' camp/agent is preventing all of this from happening.. not the FO themselves.

So they aren't as dumb as a lot of people think they are. They actually wanted to go with Karl the entire way.. but now they are being dumb to even consider Cousins' agent's feelings..

No one thought the front office was too dumb to consider Karl.

We knew from day 1 they were considering Karl.

Not exactly like GM Geoff Petrie operated so quietly and professionally. When even slightest tea leaf usually meant nothing. Unless confirmed by Kings organization which rarely occurred before it suddenly just happened.
