That's my undersized backup PF who I wanted to trade for a 3rd round draft pick and the ghost of Cuttino Mobley a month ago man

Yes that offensive rebound was huge. If nothing else we were able to kill another 18 seconds2 moments in this game at the end were huge by Landry....the offensive rebound with about 23 seconds left or so and then in the last possession for PHX he closed out on the 3 point shooting PJ Tucker who missed. He's looking like the Golden State version of Carl right now.
Landry is making most of the members on this forum look like fools. All the crap they talked about him and acted like it was the worst signing ever. Turns out this second time around he is a good fit with this roster and this coach. One of the reasons they signed him was to change the culture and be an extension of Coach Malone's message. He's doing that now and he's playing really hard on defense (which Malone loves).
Yes he's undersized and doesn't rebound as much as you'd like but Landry is a winner and the type of guy that helps good teams. He may not have been a good fit on those bad Kings teams but he is absolutely contributing on this winning team.
Who is that a picture of?
Looks like TO to me. Why he's there, I don't understand.Who is that a picture of?

Landry has been amazing. I did not expect this from him at all, but he's been wow.
Yeah I gained so much respect for Tucker the way he was battling Cousins with every fiber in his body, despite probably giving up close to 50-60 pounds.I love Carl, such a smart player, amazing skill and a beast on the block. While I felt he should have got more touches in the OT's, you have to give props to Tucker for how he was defending off the ball.

In defense of those against the Landry signing, I think the resistance was brought about by the fact we need a full-sized shot-blocking PF to pair with Cousins. I think most thought he was signed to be the STARTING PF of this team because of his connection to Malone. His past very poor performance in King's uniform and the one-year lay-off because of injury last year also helped build up that negative perception that he was overpaid/liability.Landry is making most of the members on this forum look like fools. Maybe I'm old, but why a picture of TO in a Carl Landry thread?
Carl Landry nickname should be "CL Smooth" who if you look him up was a old school rapper and currently a vet in the industry which kind of fits Carl with his game (smooth efficient post game)/status (well known vet)
You hated him in his first stint because he was a good roleplayer on a team with a bunch of kids with no roles , bad coaching, playing pick up ball. Now we have structure, are a more veteran team and players have roles.Hated him in his first stint with us.
Hated the signing of him by PDA.
AND YET.....
...I'm starting to warm up to the guy.
Being a solid scorer off the bench for a 5-1 team will do that I suppose!![]()
