Can Wesley Johnson play the 2 guard?

If so, how would he fit with our Kings roster? I kinda think he can and should play the 2 at the next level, in which case, he may be the BPA and fill a big need for us. And his skill-set could easily compliment Tyreke.

PG - Tyreke 6'6"
SG - Wesley Johnson 6'7"
SF - Donte Greene 6'10"
PF - Carl Landry 6'8"
C - Spencer Hawes 7'0"


Johnson is a good shooter, a GREAT rebounder for a wing, and a very good defender with high defense potential on the wing as well.

He may be a guy that we target, whether Cousins is there at #5 or not.

Thats a good point and you're right. Better to look at our entire situation that just one specific player.

Lets assume we draft Johnson.

As of now, our best complete package at the 2 is Garcia because he's a better ball handler and passer than Casspi, Greene, and Johnson. I consider him a better option that Udrih because of his size, and hes a better defender. That and Udrih off the bench can be lethal.

The future of the shooting guard and small forward positions are up for grabs. Out of Greene, Casspi, and Johnson, I think Johnson has the best potential as a 2. Hes probly the best passer/ball handler of the bunch. None of them are good at it, but I think hes the best and could deffinetly get better in that area.

I think Greene has the best potential as a 3. Casspi is kind of the odd man out here. I like Omri alot, but I would prefer Greene and Johnson over him, and he has a lot of trade value right now. If a good deal comes along .. maybe for someone like Al Jefferson if the Twolves draft Cousins.

As in I'm not to big of a college fan, and don't know much of Johnson, I'll take your word that he is the better choice out of the 3 of Omri, Donte, and of course himself

I like what I'm seeing here. I wouldn't mind Jefferson but I'd prefer someone that plays D. Still he's a marvel on the block on offense. Been a little injury prone lately.

We'll have money left for a free agent, and that second round pick who we could land Alabi with for the D in the middle I'm looking for.

Jefferson would most deffinetly cost more than just Casspi, but I do think its a good starting point.

Was just reading on the Jazz forum that Love is on the block. He's a little undersized but he can rebound, how about him instead of Jefferson?

Also they are split on Aldrich as they are reminded a little too much of Ostertag by the uniform lol.
