I'm not sure if he would be good for the team at PG . Obviously he is very good when he's the one with the ball but the team seems to slow down when he played PG. Anyway I hope he doesn't play SF as well.

I'm fairly confident that the first team can outscore their first team. More so with the bench. That said, I think it will come down to defense. If the Kings play it, they should win. I tend to think that big leads would be safe with this team because Smart can go to a big lineup and just pound away, eat clock, and walk away with a win. If they run baseline to baseline, well, anything can happen, and it usually happens with disastrous results - at least it did last year.
This isn't a team to go small against, as the Bulls would grab all the boards. I feel like it's a good matchup to start the season. Definitely a challenge, but absolutely winnable.

Thanks, Capt. Factorial. I checked another source (my computer) and found the same answer - CSNCA, both channels show game broadcast at 9pm.

It should be on the Alternate CSNCA channel, not the regular one. For example, CSN-CA on Dish is Channel 409, but it is not televised live on 409, but rather on a different channel (which I believe is CSNCA Plus, or something like that). I hope this helps...

Yes, on DirectTV it appears to be on 699 (the alternate channel) at 5 pm, and then at 9pm on 698, the normal channel for the Kings.

i expect good things tonight based on our improved roster, and the Bulls injuries. also the fact that the Kings have had pretty good success against the Bulls in the last couple of years
That's very strange, because here in Davis it is on at 5 on CSNCA, both on the TV and computer guide.
I don't understand why the game would be on an alternate CSNCA channel. The game should be the main programming on CSNCA, though I guess it would be blacked out if you get CSNCA but are in Warriors territory.
Pshn80, since you're in Sacramento it should be on at 5. I'd just guess there's an issue with the guide and try to watch at 5 anyway no matter what the guide says. Worst case you have to wait until 9 for the rerun. You could always call your provider and ask them what the deal is, that way if they've messed up and they're going to black out the game (even though they shouldn't) they'd probably have time to fix it before 5.
TV channels continue to be a mystery to me. In the 95818 area -Land Park, I have Comcast cable and have always got the Kings games. It comes on CSNCA channels 34 and 721. It does tonight but at 9pm instead of game time of 5pm. Maybe I'll increase my frustration by ringing the Kings'bell.

445 on Dish is the CSN-CA Alt channel, for those who are wondering. The game will be televised live on that channel. I am surprised that the other cable providers are not showing the game live on a different channel. Might want to do some further investigation of your TV guides, as I am sure the game will be televised live....

Anyone having Dish issues saying the games are blacked out? Just got off the phone with them and ordered LP, but there should be a free preview for a week. It's saying every game is blacked out. WTF?
Neither the guy I talked to nor his supervisor had a clue. They said they can't control which games are and aren't blacked out. Had to explain I'm in the GS market, their games are blacked out as I get local coverage, but the Kings/Bulls, Mavs/Jazz, LA/Por should have nothing to do with local blackout rules.
I'm hoping it just comes on at 5pm.

I live in south Sacramento County and I think two of the games are showing up as HD, one as SD, and one blacked out. Asinine.

For me it's showing both HD and SD as blacked out, along with every other game. I live in Concord. Makes no sense.
