honestly i do watch and did play basketball as a senior in hs.... im no profesional but dont sheesh me... these guys time and time again get stuffed after rebounding right under the basket... if they dont have either the power to push it thru multiple defenders or the skill to dodge all these guys then they need to just reset the frickn offense.... if it just happened here and there it wouldnt be such a big deal... but serioulsy do you watch these games?

You have to admit, there were some positives in that first half. Tyreke, even though he played well in the first half still isn't right. He got doubled every time he touched the ball, and they doubled him very fast. Still he needs to be faster with the pass out of the double team. It was expected that the team would melt down in the fourth. Did anyone think they were going to win? Really? I have given up hoping for miracle wins. Just looking for positive signs at this point. The Kings do not have enough talent to compete night in and night out in the NBA. They have one go to player and a bunch of role players. They also only have a coupla scorers. Their offense is easily shut down. They just guard the players who can actually score and let the others flail about. 10th Lowest payroll in the NBA. You get what you pay for I guess...

We need an ****ing PG Tyreke dosent do the job well of getting other players involved
so he should go to SG , team looked great last year with sergio rodregiz playing

Im not really abandoning the kings completely. Sorry for the spurs thing lol. It's kinda impossible for me, being a kings fan from birth and everything lol. But right now, its just getting too frustrating and stressful to watch so i think ill take a break from watching the entire game so i dont get all riled up about a amazing first half and then a horrible horrible second half.

Correction, lowest payroll in the league.
The Bulls' defense picked up. We were still able to run our offense, but players were hesitant to shoot because the passes were bad, which gave the defense more time to close out.
At some point Westphal put Greene at PF--a mistake with Noah out there. That lineup also struggled offensively, and Evans made some horrible decisions on offense.
I didn't get to see the first quarter but the good in the second started with getting the ball down low and then passing over the double team for open shots. Ball movement in general. This is what we have been saying for a while we need some inside out play and we need more quality ball movement.
We reverted back to our normal offense in the 3rd and 4th.

dude call a time out... did you see that sequence ? now think for a sec.... have you seen anything like that before with these guys? ..... this was happening at the end of a game.... the only thing these guys were battling was themselves.... you dont have to put it right back up after a rebound... they need to realize that they arent as explosive as they think they are and give the ball to someone else or call a time out... or perhaps learn to actually pump fake.... geez

when it gets to the point where you laugh after these kind of games instead of shout obscenities when the Kings looked like 3rd graders during the Bulls run, you know it's a lost season.

If you can, try and find clips online where the camera is more close and down to the ground, also from the side. It's wierd because from those angles you can really see how the game is being played. It's alot tougher than it looks from our angle we watch nightly.
The offense was the same. The Bulls just played better defense.
You know its a lost season when you think its a lost season this early lol

trust me i still play orginized basketball... i realize what its like to be sourounded by bigger stronger players. or just a ton of guys... you dont need to just throw the ball up again...

how many more games do we have to endure this season? does anybody call plays to be run?? too much one on one crap. i saw reke do that too much. dribble then when theres nothing, he dishes and that player has to shoot do to the shot clock winding down.

In the second quarter, for a brief moment, I thought The Kings were going to win tonight. Then I said to myself, wait, this is The Kings, they'll find a way to choke in the second half. Sadly, I was right.

Reke is pretty lacking in BBIQ. Hopefully that improves with experience. He's never going to be Nash or Kobe in that department, but he doesnt have to be Artest either.
This team needs real shooters. No body on this team can make a perimeter shot to save their life. Defenders know they can leave their guy and triple team Tyreke penetrating to the basket resulting in a turnover or offensive foul.
And why does Tyreke keep doing this. Does Westphal not know any plays that involve ball movement?

Yea, because god forbid a PG who actually passes the ball play in the NBA...
Sergio was a bad defender, and at times careless with the ball, but he was great at picking up the pace and setting up guys. He is definitely not out of the NBA because he doesn't have a place in the league. He is a good backup PG. He chose to go to Europe and get more minutes and contend for titles, and that's a legitimate choice. He's definitely better than Carlos Arroyo, to give just one example...
And for the record, Sergio's +/- was BY FAR the highest on our team last season.

Exactly. You hit the nail right on the head. The Kings need more talent/experience to compete. Our "go-to" player has been figured out by the rest of the league. Teams are making him take Js which aren't falling.

A time out? look JT missed the layup Cuz got rebound he PUMP FAKED got blocked the ball went to the three point line Cuz chased it down beating Deng for the rebound he drove it back inside and got blocked by Noah and JT got the rebound and traveled in the paint. All while Jeter, Wright, and Beno stood with their fingers up their butts. no need for time out of a pass just good defense.

No it wasn't the same. They were moving the ball into the post early in the shot clock in the first half and moving the ball with out dribbling. Second half was alot of ball pounding.
I think hes doing some experimenting with Reke..
Good hustle, but it mightve been smarter to pass out and reset the possession. Cousins basically drove right back into the defense that shut him down.
