Brandon Jennings

what sucks for him is that i don't think he knew that joe budden was recording it, or at least thats what it looks like. Its easy to talk profane about sports with friends, but it's weird to hear someone in the league talking like that. Most of the time the players are all sound like cookie cutter images of David Stern's empire of mechanical, monotonous beings. In the words of George Lopez, "That way he learns."

Dude, scroll through this thread. There's proof that he not only knew it was going to be recorded, but he wanted people to listen in to what he was going to say.

Jennings apologizes for interview

MILWAUKEE -- First-round draft pick Brandon Jennings has yet to break a sweat in practice for the Milwaukee Bucks, and he's already doing a little backpedaling on defense.

Speaking after the Bucks' pre-summer league practice Monday, Jennings expressed regret for drawing unwanted attention when his profanity-laced and provocative telephone conversation with a rapper was videotaped and posted on YouTube last week.

ESPN, More..

Hopefully he has learned his lesson (although while he insists that he didn't know it was being recorded, HE KNEW).

And nitpicky as it might be, THAT is another red flag about Brandon Jennings. He already had to apologize TWICE for making ridiculous public statements. He's making excuses for bad or questionable decisions. It's not about making excuses. It's about NOT making the decisions to do those things in the first place.
