Bodiroga to play for Kings???

How does Bodiroga compare to that Drazen Petrovic guy we were talking about earlier?
Drazen was an unbelieveable shooter who could just pull up out of nowhere and kill you with his threes. An absolute scoring machine.

IMHO, Bodiroga is more fundamentaly sound than late Drazen. Bodiroga often plays PG and gets others involved. He does a bit of everything, score, rebound, assist, play a bit of D etc. When the game is there to be taken he is often the one that has ball in his hands and goes one on one with his opponent and he is just unstoppable that way.

Drazen was a scorer but not a hell of a lot more where as Bodiroga is more complete. In europe Bodiroga is known as "White Magic" as in Magic Johnson and they are similar sort of players. What Magic was in the NBA, Bodiroga is in europe.

I watch him (Bodiroga) twise at this season. He moves on court very slow, and even not remains best europinian player , that he was some years ago. It's true, that his contract expire this summer, but absolutely unlike he will move to NBA.

btw I'd like to see Oberto or Scola as possible kings options for next year.....

The Spurs have Scola's draft rights, and there have been reports that he'll join them next year.

As far as Bodiroga schooling Melo, Melo isn't much of a defender and even less so that far out on the perimeter. It was a very pretty move though.

He also schooled Finley in Indy so bad, it was funny.

I don't know what everyone sees in this guy, but I watched NBA International the other night and everyone said he was the second coming of Jordan. Players from Europe and here raved about him. Then just before the Webber trade G.P. was just getting back from a trip over to Spain? I guess he was scouting or who knows what. Then, I watched a Game recently between Spain and Moscow and this guy never scored a point other then a few from the line. I rather just have Brad back and get some younger more atheletic guys in the off season. This Bodiroga guy has some good ball handling skills. My$.02

To be fair Drazen has well earned his rep in Europe, and having watched a few international games he has played in I would have to say I was impressed, but this is a man looking at the back end of a great European career, comming to play in the NBA at this stage would be a huge and rather pointless risk.

Wow, Bodiroga is the man. CSKA Moscow had won 17 games in a row (new Euroleague record), but it was time to lose. It's in games like this that we see what he is really made of.

And him coming to the NBA, I don't think that would be a good idea at this point. He can just have fun in Europe.

Mi imamo boga, ime mu je Bodiroga!

bodiroga best years was when Jasikevicius was passing ball to him now he almoust usless. hi evryone i am new member
