Bobby Jackson won't resign with Memphis (merged)

Which PG would you take to back-up Bibby?
Only problem is, we still have Hart. I'd take Claxton. I love B-Jax, but he's injury prone. If he wasn't, I would bring him back in a heartbeat.

If he wasn't, he could start for some teams;)

If we brought back B-Jax it would allow us not to have to sign Wells to some ridiculous contract. We could start K-Mart, B-Jax would be the 1-2 backup like he has been in the past and Garcia can back up the 2-3, this will allow our younger guys to develop.

I think this make more long term sense, than signing Wells and some other back-up PG.

Bibby - Jackson
Martin - Jackson/Garcia
Artest - Garcia
KT - SAR
Miller - (FA Big)

that is a 9 man rotation, pretty good, but it won't happen.

Plus we still have a draft pick coming

I think you have to get an actual SG/SF with some experience if either Garcia/Wells are gone. There are plenty solid ones out there.

Who says the Wells re-signing would be ridiculous? Whatever we offer him and the situation in Sac, I'd say beats anywhere else.

Why's that? If we keep Wells and Martin there's no room. Start Bonzi at OG and Ron at SF, then bring in Kevin at OG and shift Bonzi to SF. Then bring back Ron at SF and shift Kevin back to OG. Lather, rinse, repeat.

This is why Garcia is not a MUST keep by any means, and getting another OG/SF should be at the bottom of the to-do list.

If Wells is gone though? Yes you do. You can't have Artest and 3 young players.

If Garcia's gone? Maybe not as much. But I think you need to get another vet. swingman for depth, whether used for speciality or sometimes. Also who knows how Muss will be using that part of the roster. Remember he liked using Brian Cardinal in GS, who I'd think was a 9th/10th man-type, and is one.
