Bobby Jackson sighting

Was having lunch with my wife and son yesterday at "The Habit burger grill" in Granite Bay when in walks Bobby Jackson and a friend or maybe his son,he looked to be 17-18,not sure if B-jax has a son that old.Everyone left them alone so they could enjoy their lunch, but my son did get him to autograph his hat as they were leaving.B-Jax is a class act,and no he was'nt eating a burger,he had a lg salad of some sort.Yes,my son was stoked and is still bragging...

its his nephew. I think his name was Chris. All I remember is attending a camp with him when we were both 12/13. He is really good.

Too bad we couldn't bring back Bobby to the Kings. He did sign a nice contract, more than we could have paid so I'm happy for him, Vlade and Peja come back here to Sacto for different events so that's cool.

I met another BJ when lived in the NW burbs of Chicago, BJ Armstrong of the Bulls. I was in a pet store and I recognized BJ and my mom approached him and I'm like mom don't hassle BJ and BJ totally played it off like he wasn't a basketball player just some regular dude, I laughed and could see BJ was having fun with that one too. My mom is like "Don't worry, you'll be a pro basketball player some day." :D She isn't shy and was just goofing around.

Bobby maintains his home here. I think he is really attached to the area. Too bad we couldn't keep him and too bad he was injured so much his last 3 seasons here. He seems like a great guy.

Since he doesn't play for the Kings anymore, I am glad that he is playing for the Hornets. I'll get to see him on TV (gives me a reason to watch them) AND, I'll get to see him when they play their six games in New Orleans!

I see Bobby at the Natomas Gold's gym 2-3 times a week. He gets trained there by the Kings old strength and conditioning coach. He is a class act, always shaking fan's hands and saying what's up to everyone.
