I'd say yes but I think someone said they don't have a first rounder or they can't trade their first round pick.

I wouldn't do it for what is proposed.

they'd have to give us a unprotected 1st, dorrell wright and daequan cook along with those expirings. giving them both players would instantly vault them up the eastern conference.

Theres an old saying that the team who gets the better player gets the better end of the trade... well this goes double for this.

No effing way.

Dorrell Wright is the most overrated player on this board.

Absolutely not. Even for Ron alone, they'll need to take on a bad contract like Kenny Thomas'.

Reading the article, Derrick Rose has a good mentor in Rod Strickland. In his prime, he was one of the top five point guards in the league.

They can have Ron, but not Bibby, they have been talking for a while now about getting both but they dont wanna give up the real goods, forget about it.

man, these writers in Miami are freaking DELUSIONAL!!! They are overvaluing their players to an overwhelming height.

One thing you have to remember is that Beno is a Unristricted Free Agent at the end of the season. With that said the Kings would have to sign 2 PG's during the offseason or draft one so that we have a starter and a back up.

Also, looking at next years free agents Gilbert Arenas, Baron Davis, Allen Iverson and Stephon Marbury are the only real good PG's in next years Free Agent class. And thats if they excercise there ETO. Besides personally, I don't know that I would want any of those players on my team.

I feel that if we trade Bibby we should get a cheap PG back in return that will be around for a few years.

I voted no, because the Heat if they got Bibby, and Artest are a shoe-in to make the playoffs, and the pick would be probably aroud 15th-17th. No thanks. Now if the heat sucked, and had a top 8 than I would.

Give me a 3 way deal w/ Toronto that gives us Calderon than I would do it. So Yes for Calderon, a couple expirings, and a 2008 pick from the Heat and I would do it.

Highly, highly undervaluing Artest in this deal. No thanks on Dorell Wright. If they want to something like this for Bibby, then thats great but Artest is not cheap and way more valuable to some other team's playoff run than this garbage.

My whole thing with Artest is that he is a decent 1 vs. 1 type player, but not a very good "team" player. I am sure a lot of GMs out there see this. Plus Artest has pretty much stated that he want's to be a franchise type player, and a #1 option. I can't picture a lot of GMs wanting to take a chance on that if they are in the run for a championship.

On the other hand if there is a team that is skating with a #5-#8 spot in the east and are looking for a player to take them over the top than Artest might be for them. But when you get Artest you get all the issues w/ him holding the ball for 15+ seconds while all the other players stand around.

The Heat has already traded their 1st round pick to the T-Wolves, and the next earliest 1st rounder they can trade is their 2012 pick. So everyone can forget about getting any good draft pick from them.

And they're not going to trade Dequan Cook. They will trade Dorrell Wright but he's nothing but a future journeyman.

Bottom line is the Heat don't have much to offer.

Yikes.. OK.. Than we take a 3rd teams pick? :) I don't want anyone on the Heat anyway.

The "writer" is Sam Smith who a) makes things up; and b) likes to play GM for the league and is virtually never right.

That said...still no. not because I think Bibby or Artest belong here any longer. But just because I think that we can/should be able to get more for them by dealing them separately than we would get out of the proposed deal dealing them togther. Now if Miami could somehow further sweeten the pot -- more picks? Third team somehow? Whatever, then we could talk. But I'm jsut not sure they have enoguh trading assets in there to make things happen for us.

Note/query -- since Davis was just traded in October he should not be eligible to be traded again in a multiplayer trade until...is it 60 days or 90 days? If 60, then this becomes possible sometime soon. If 90, not until late January, and who knows by then.

I would do this trade if they took a bad contract back, whether it's KT or SAR, don't matter, but they don't get Artest and Bibby and not take a bad contract. Even with Ricky Davis coming here.

I think its 60 days which would make him available sometime around Christmas.

Riley would pick YOU up at the airport and give you the plane for that deal. But we don't want JWill back and the $$$ numbers don't match. Forget it.
