bibby and adelman's reaction

ok, i just watched TNT. i knew they were gonna have the reactions so i had to tune in. they had mike, rick, and AI.

AI is happy with the trade. by the end of the interview he's really smiling.

bibby --wow. he looked sad. i guess that's the "saddest face" you can get from mike. mike's not one to pout or anything, he just looked really disappointed. he started by saying "he was a great friend".. after that i couldn't hold my tears. so i couldn't even remember the rest of the interview except for the opening line.

and adelman was the one who had the hard job of telling chris he was traded, it says on TNT. only quote i remember from adelman is "we had a good 6 and a half years...."

so, can anyone give a mini transcript of what they said? i was just so emotional when i saw mike say that first line so i could not understand or remember anything else.

I saw it as well. I was upset looking at Mike Bibby's face. I can't remember anything either.

i really wish i saw AIs reaction though...i always thought that Chris and AI had the most beautiful smiles id ever seen and NOW both of those smiles are on the same team

^^i really tried not to cry till the end. but wow. ever since the trade happened, i was wondering what mike would say. and now, he said it. sad.

AI said he talked to cwebb that night he got traded. webb told him that he knows it's AI's team and that he just wants to do what he could to make the team better. AI then said (paraphrased) "he wanted to prove that he's not done yet."

i think webb really feels bad about the trade especially because of what they traded him for. that's embarassing to know what his value was for the kings.

I suspect Bibby to be the most down on this trade. He and Webb seem to got along the most. Poor Bibby.

And I'm sure Webb is feeling bad. Beginning of the season, he said this was going to be his team, carry the team, etc. Then it's taken away and now he's on someone's else team (AI). Webb will do well in the 6ers.

i was just watching NBATV. the dallas PBP or radio guy (well, he works for the mavs) said he was in the kings shootaround and said the kings were in shock. (well, duh) and then he said mike bibby was stunned. and rick adelman was still trying to get over it.

mike is definitely the one hurt most emotionally, IMO, with this trade.
