Chauncey...is great for a title contender. But oh so overrated when he starts being mentioend as the ebst this or MVP that. Not a great creative guy. Shoots 41.8% from the field. Its just that he is so physical and clutch it greatly inflates what would otherwise be a shaky portfolio.
By the way, last time I checked Gilbert Arenas was still starting at PG for the Wizards, and while you can say what you want about how he plays it, when a guy goes 29pts 6ast 2stl on the season as the starting PG for a #5 seed in the playoffs...should be on this list.
Fair enough. I don't even think of Arenas when I think "Point guard", and Arenas is probably a Billups type, only better. (And he has a great personality.) I think playing for a title contender has to factor in it, though. Because of clutch play and assists, I'd still put Billups over Parker, but that could change soon. Nash might be on another level, depending on how responsible you think he his for Boris Diaw's emergence.
