Bee: Stoked Salmons

Went back and checked myself. I stand corrected oh wisened one. He wasn't a great rebounder, but for his size he was a decent rebounder. On our team, he would be right up there with the leaders. Now thats sad..

Dantley's thing was that freakish post game for a guy his size. A super-prolific Bonzi.

All I remember was making a point of playing him at OG rather than SF when playing Stratomatic basketball growing up so that he would be a solid rebounder rather than a wuss (late in his career he was down to about 4-5). ;)

Salmons seems ecstatic to be joining the Kings, and based on what he said it even seems like he wanted to come to the Kings in the first place. It seems to me that the rumor overload about him going to the Raptors urged him to sign with the Raps in the first place, but that wasn't where his heart ultimately was.

They can report it all they want. They can also report aliens from the planet BIZARROWORLD landing on the front yard of the White House. Both are about equal in possibility.

Wells and especially his agent made a fatal mistake. They made the big "ALL IN" gesture without making sure they had the best hand. And now, they're walking away from the table with empty pockets and an eternity to live it all over in their minds and try to get it to turn out differently. I've got a news flash for them: Much like game 7 of the 2002 WCF, it doesn't matter how many times you watch. The ending never changes.

I dunno if it's all THAT bad for Bonzi...although he SHOULD fire his agent. Bonzi can take a team where he feels is the best fit and take their MLE for a 1 year tender and re-enter free agency. It is a gamble, but hey he gambled with 36 million and lost, so I have a hard time seeing that he doesn't gamble with that idea.

However, if the sixers were willing I'd personally JUMP at this deal...

Bonzi for Daly

then

Pot, Hart for 2nd rounder and TPE of 4.5 they acquired from the Marc Jackson trade.

Kings line-up:

C: Brad, Daly, J-Will
PF: Kenny, SAR, Louie
SF: Artest, Garcia, Corliss
SG: Martin, Salmons, Douby
PG: Bibby, Price, "POOH"

I like that 15 man line-up A LOT.

No no, GOD told him to come to the Kings. ;)

I have been thinking about this for a while now.
How may of you seriously believe that Salmons had no idea about the Kings offer when he rejected Toronto's offer?
