Showed we had potential, but the situation is very similar to Denver last year. They got confused about how good they were after the strong finish and sat on their hands and did not address their weaknesses, and they stalled out and lost their momentum. If we do the same thing, its likely the same thing happens to us.
As an aside, it is rarely just about total top to bottom talent when it comes to being an elite team. Otherwise the Knicks would be right there. Its about how that talent is distributed, having 1 or more overwhelming players that the other team cannot stop, and having high level roleplayers to take care of all the dirty work.
