Yea but there's definitely a pattern here with cuad. Contributing various opinions to the board would be different. Constant nit picking and bashing a single player is trolling... and this guy OBVIOUSLY has a problem with cuz.... or should I say agenda...
I disagree. I love this site but I think the contributors on it are too quick to call a dissenting opinion trolling. I just read through cuad's posts and s/he has plenty of nice things to say about Cousins. Its just when s/he makes one negative comment that s/he gets roasted, and I dont think that's fair. What good is a message board if its soley groupthink? I mean groupthink is fun for sure but if their is no members with differing opinions all this site serves to do is increase the strength of your own ideas. I think all of us come here for that in varying degrees, but I also think opposite opinions should be more readily accepted.

Not when those opinions are based solely on ignorance or trollish behavior. Not saying that is the case here (as I am not going to go back and dig through all the posts right now - don't have time), but some may see it that way. My recollection is that some of the posts are more than just a dissenting opinion and border on being trollish based on the focus on one player and "non-objective" look at things.

Agreed. Trolling is where you're saying things just to get people to react. That's not the same as having a sincere but unpopular opinion. But you can try to label an unpopular opinion as trolling as an easy ad hominem attack, and many posters here seem to favor ad hominem and straw man arguments.

No comment on the particular poster in question, however.

Your head is in the right place, and I don't discount what you think about the importance of varying opinions, however your defense of cuad kind of perplexes me. You act as if we are jumping down his throat for having said a negative thig about DMC, and since he occasionally says things about his good rebounding or footwoork exonerates him. It is not who or what he says but the manner in which he does, "casspi sucks, lolz" or "cousins is fat hahahha" just seems very trollish to me. I guess what I am saying is this guy should go on the ignore list instead of writing a paragraph about his ignorance, I think
I will follow my own advice, sorry KF.com'ers!

While it was reported that Theus/Minny were out "to get in the head of Cousins" in the first half, that was not the whole story. Bajaden and I were sitting up behind the Minny bench and saw more. The other assistant coach working with Theus was none other than bad-boy Bill Lambier. After we all saw Theus put his arm around Stiemsma before the twin technicals, I twice saw Lambier sidle up next to Stiemsma and mumble something. It sure as h_ _ _ wasn't asking him about the weather! You have to believe it was tips on banging and bothering from the master.

After the twin technicals there was no doubt from anyone in the arena, that when Cousins got the ball in the post in the second half while being guarded by Stiemsma, justice was about to be served much to the delight of MOST in the arena and to the visible chargrin of Coach Theus and Lambier. Cousins and Theus were seen to exchange pleasantries a number of times up and down the court, mostly down the court after Cousins had scored on Stiemsma. ;)

So far in 3 games the Kings guards have been out played each game and none of them have yet to step up to try to run the team. They all seem overly concerned with shooting and driving into traffic and not very successfully at that.

A final thought from Bajaden: Brockman. If for some reason Brockness does not sign, then Chism becomes excellent candidate for his spot on the bench with his much better overall skill set and good (not Brockman great) rebounding. Chism is also bigger.
Thank you for keeping us updated as your perspective is much appreciated! Wow, I wish I were there right now!!

This is BajaDen. I just want to say this about Stiemsma. He's a dirty player. Prior to Cousins retaliation, he Had shoved Cousins in the back, threw an elbow into Cousins throat. He was constantly grabbing Cousins arm or jersey. I watched Stiemsma play in four other games, and he played the same way in all of them. In one of the games Matt Bouldin was standing at the top of the key, preparing for defense. Stiemsma was running down the floor toward the basket, and as ran past Bouldin he threw his elbow out and caught Bouldin in the neck and part of his face, knocking him to the floor.

I could go on, but I think you get the point. I mostly blame the officials for not staying on top of the situation. Ellie complained, and so did Cousins, and yet they did nothing. Playing physical is one thing. Samuels played physical, and I have no problem with it. What Cousins did wouldn't have happened if the officials had done their job.
