Bahanon Toughness

Watching the championship last night I was impressed with a lot of the play. U of L forward Bahanon showed a lot of mental toughness throughout the game. Pitino knows how to coach some hard-nosed players. I hope cousins was watching and taking notes.

The new sports movie out "42" is about Jackie Robinson and his contributions to baseball and society in general. There is a quote in the film trailer. The organization was looking for a player "tough enough so that he did not have to reltaliate no matter what happened." Bohanon, Larry Bird type stuff.

Behanan is one of those hardnosed players that every college team needs. Well coached, but probably has no future in the NBA. But who knows, he could become the next Chuck Hayes. In any event, I wish him well. He'll probaly be back with Louisville next season as well.

He's almost certainly a four-year player. In fact, let's just put it as definitely. And questionable if he's NBA caliber. Far better suited for the college game.
