"Back in Black" with fans help?

I've heard that the NBA just might be agreeable to allowing the Kings to have black alternate jerseys if the Kings were adamant about wanting them.

HONEST!!!

So, here's the deal. I know we want the black back. You know we want the black back. We need to make sure the Kings know we want the black back.

I'm starting a poll and I'm urging each of you to send an email to the Kings at Kings@arcoarena.com

Let them KNOW how much we want the black back!!!

Here's a sample email you can use:

I want to see my Kings back in black!!! The team hasn't looked or felt the same since we got rid of the black uniforms. We NEED them back. Please convince the NBA we, the loyal Kings fans, are serious about getting the black jerseys back onto on team and into our team store!

I know I'd buy at least 4 Martin jerseys in black. And maybe more... I think having my whole family in Kings black for the annual holiday picture would be really cool!!!

I haven't bought a jersey since we drafted Hurley. If we go back to Black, I'll get three. And one for my kid, too... I'll have to wait until after work to send an email, though.

I think that most of us don't know the answer to that. However, at this juncture, it is totally irrelavant. If you want the black back then...

Sent my email as suggested & even threw in the fact that I would love to get new jerseys for my family but we haven't because we can't part with the black ones we like so much! We did cave and buy my son a white one because he really wanted Artest, but my husband & I like the black ones so much better we've just stuck with what we have (and in our collection of 5 jerseys there is only one player (bibby) who is still on the team)

Give me something in a deep purple. Make it classy, simple and timeless and then be done with it.

I like that as option # 2, or for the main road uniforms.

Off topic:

Actually, I still like the idea of wearing the colored uniforms at home and the whites on the road, but I know THAT will not change.

When I go to a home game I want to see our team's colors on display in our house, not white. Blech.
