yes ive noticed that many times and I was hesitant to write his/her name down with the fear of repercussions. I was already warned so many times for the weakest of all posts such as "you guys suck", which was not even intended in any way, shape, or form to "attack".

I was not in any way promoting or advocating any kind of on-the-board harassment of said individual. You said "whoever did it" so I was simply pointing out that with a public poll you know who did it.

At least they've acknowledged them. And, in doing so, I'm pretty sure they had to notice how many of them they're acknowledging.

Did it make a difference? There's no way to know for sure quite yet but it certainly didn't hurt. And if it did lead to the Kings making a strong push to get "back to black" then it was certainly worth it in my book.

well if you think about it, is it just people on this forum emailing? thats probably somewhere in the hundreds, thats not bad at all, but big enough to send a message? im not so sure, we should try to spread the word on it to people. like friends and stuff, even if they dont like the kings very much, the more the better right?

The flood they received was from FANS and that speaks pretty loudly. Now all we can do is wait and see what happens.

I'm going to wait and see what happens. This thread was predicated on hearing something last week that made it timely. At this point, the emails sent then met the objective. We'll just have to hope it was enough. I cannot say anything more...but I'll be sure and let everyone know if I hear anything further.

Ok thanks. BTW I thought it was time for them to be able to change the alt jerseys if they wanted anyway? IIRC we got them 2 years ago. So we don't have to wear them anymore. Am I right or wrong?

The original report was that we would have to use the gold for three years. They plan things like this about a year in advance, so we won't know...

I thought I'd bump this as there are rumors floating around that the Kings might actually get "back in black" for 2008-2009.

I think we should count our blessing that the gold lamé is MIA. And I, for one, would truly love to be able to sport a Martin black jersey at next year's games.

The Kings have not - knock on wood - worn anything other than home white or road purple this season. So although the gold may have technically been the "alternate," they were not worn...

It was mentioned on The Rise Guys this morning that there will be new home and road jersey's next year. I didn't catch the whole conversation, so I'm not sure if they were saying new home and road alternates, or new home and road period.

The rumor the Rise Guys referred to was from uniwatchblog.com (new road and home jerseys for the Kings, not just alternates).
