i think the point is the pacers arent in a position to get relief from his contract....though they might not be too opposed to that road if it came their way at this point....
as long as ron doesnt refuse to report, hes ok....since no deal was approved by the league, he never failed to report....
and the pacers need help....some help is better than no help....theyve lost bender with no help in return....the team is spiralling out of control and needs some help....
u dont get that by shelving the guy and looking for contract relief...
u just go back to doing what u were doing....wait till u get an offer from the clippers, lakers, nuggets, twolves, warriors, knicks, or cavs that u can live with....
if they can get out of paying him his salary till the deal is done, they certainly will try....but u gotta believe, especially by whats been said already, that rons agent is gonna make sure he and ron say things in such a manner that that doesnt happen....
