Anyone else working today??

Boy, is my office ever empty right now!! Hardly anyone, even the managers are off, it seems. But not in my department. It's kind of depressing to see, and not fair <pouts>. Heh. I sure wish we could at least go home early today, but I bet our meanie bosses in the corporate office won't allow it.

Not only did I work today and have to work tonight, but I get to do the same for 16 hours tomorrow

Yes, I'm working today. I never get too many extra days off around the first of the month, so I'm used to it.

It would be nice, however, if I wasn't in here alone. One person's got an appointment all day in Sacramento, and the other is MIA. Thank goodness it's relatively quiet.

I too am working today. But I am off tomorrow so at least I have something to look forward to. Office is empty and I am sleepy but I enjoy the silence.

i'm here, only because if I would have asked for it off, that would have given me 6 days off in a row, and hahahahahaha I may not have wanted to come back, so it was a nice breakup, and yea, no managers or sup's here today, oh what joy it is to be a state worker..........

Security and the only people I'm making happy are my co-workers who won't have to be there. I'll be there all alone but I've got a couple of friends coming by, I hope, to keep me company for an hour or so. I'll probably go hide for a while and get on the computer. I wish I had a laptop then time would go by more quickly.

ENOUGH WHINING!!! (Sorry, couldn't resist) I'm also working tonight and tomorrow night. 6pm until 6am. Happy 4th everyone...save me a rib or a hot dog!

I'm at work too. I got called in a little early so I get to leave a little early which is cool...off tomorrow too. Everyone else just left so I'm here alone til about 8 or so.
