Anyone buy jerseys often? Authentics that is.

I have no idea about authentics, so I was hoping there was a jersey guru on here.

I want to pick up a Kevin Martin Authentic jersey, but I want a 2004-2005 version, so ordering on nba.com would make that pointless since it'd have a 2005-2006 tag.

So I wanted to see if any of you guys would have any idea on where I could find this outside of nba.com

I refuse to get it off ebay lol.

Too many fakes, and although I am aware very few would fake a kevin martin jersey, I'm sure it happens.

I can't claim any knowledge about jerseys or collecting anything, but I can tell you that I never saw a Martin Jersey for sale in the Kings Store in 04-05. I could be very wrong, but I'd bet the only way to get a Martin Jersey last year was to have one made special.

With that said, my daughter and I were there last week picking up a last minute BDay gift, and she asked about a Kevin jersey. The clerk said they only have Kevin in authentics.

After last night, you'll probably see a few pee yellow #8's. I saw several folks "carrying" them out of ARCO.

You're totally and completely correct. The store didn't stock Martin jerseys last year and they aren't doing a lot to provide Martin fans with much of anything this year, either.

I know a certain member of this forum who has bent their ear about that situation, so hopefully it may soon be rectified.
