According to Mark Stein, Anderson Varejao is looking to opt out of his contract this summer and become an unrestricted free agent. If the Kings draft Rubio or Griffin instead of Thabeet, it would make sense to me to make a run at Varajao to fill out the front court rotation. He can play the PF or C positions, is a solid defender, and is a terrific offensive rebounder. He has energy either coming off the bench, or starting for injured teammates. I think the Kings should target Sessions and/or Varajao, but 7+ million/year might be too much for a third big. It's nice to know that the Kings have the cap space to actually make an offer though
