Former Spurs scout Kevin Pritchard officially was named general manager. Not only did Adelman coach the Trail Blazers from 1988 to 1994, he was an original Trail Blazer, on the roster in the expansion team’s first season. I don't know. I have heard some very interesting things about that owner of the Blazers.

You look at what Musselman got out of this year's team (nothing) and it's amazing what Adelman got out of his guys year after year. Webber, Vlade, Peja, Bobby Jackson, Doug Christie, Scot Pollard, Jon Barry, Mike Bibby, Bonzi Wells and Brad Miller all had their best years in Sacramento. A lot of those guys were significantly worse before or after their time with Adelman.
