I moved this into a new thread to separate it from the Bee and Voisin's article.

As an editorial, I think it misstates at least one point. While Mong may have apologized to "some civic leaders for the Maloofs' gaffes" I think it needs to be mentioned that the city and county also made a number of mistakes in the whole Q and R debacle. It's not all on the Maloofs, who - as Voisin points out in her piece - are still ranked by David Stern as among the best owners in the NBA. They're just the easiest targets around...

I agree with you %100. With that said, I like the idea of not using tax payers money, I don't think a tax increase would ever pass, but i know it's easier said then done

Taxes don't have to be raised, money just has to be allocated correctly. The local government wastes at least 6 figures every year on unnecessary crap all the time.

Like tying up traffic to plant palm trees on watt avenue.:mad:
