Now I'm not trying to start an arguement but I just want to see what everyone thinks of this clip.

Watch Weber change his pivot foot.

I guess this is the first time in history that the refs have blown a walking or a travelling call. Nice point though. Ah let's get them Sonics.

Good point but I guess you shouldn't count the numerous times the Suns traveled whent hey went to the hoop. On one play I think Barbosa took about 10 steps. It's really pretty rare when someone gets called for changing there pivot foot because the game would probably come to a standstill.

Looking at it again it's really tough to tell which one is his pivot foot and I would imagine in real time it was even more difficult.

He was but you and I know there are only 2 players on the court atleast this year that will take the final shot. Webber has hit 2 of 4. Brad is 0-2 (Phx and Heat games) with everyone healthy and Bibby is what? Peja hasn't even gotten a try yet this year.

Peja isn't proven yet this year. That's all I'm going to say on this point. Personally I'd rather Webb or Bibby take the shot because atleast this year they proved they can hit the big shot even a big 3 from Webb same can't be said with Peja this year although he's hasn't been given as many oppurtunities. I suppose he could be who knows. Win tonight, kings, PLEASE.

lol @ bozzwell

its always easier to look at things in retrospect...the kings were TRYING to go for an easy two to send it to OT....can you blame them

btw--thanks Tempe for being civil here at kingsfans...instead of coming in here and bashing us to the ground...like some of your fellow suns fans have

thats a clear travel! look how he moves both feet at the same time, but who cares anymore im tired of that play already

Guys you act like players don't stop dribbling at the mid court line and some how take a layup after 5 steps in the league. Come on this is being trivial. We still lost, and that wouldn't have changed anything, same score.

He still has his dribble when both feet move.
..........but traveling is never called anyway.

Looks like a Kobe play to me. The NBA lets veterans get away with traveling almost all the time. Its a joke. Good topic for discussion.

no he doesnt he put the ball on the ground and picked it up. than both feet move at the same time.

Webber was also in the lane for three seconds before Miller got the shot off.

Yes, Peja was open, but by the time he got open, Webber’s back was to him. Besides, going to Brad for an apparently open layup is a better call than going to Peja for a three. All Brad had to do was use his left hand, or put it off the glass.

Close call there. I only count two seconds during that clip, but he may have been in the paint longer during the layup.

Chris moves his pivot foot all the time, actually. Its a pretty bad habit that I've noticed many times.

In fact, during the playoffs last year (can't remember if it was Dallas or Minny) Chris was called for travelling on two consecutive possessions because the opposing coach told the refs to look out for that.

it was against Dallas and Mark Cuban was the one that complained about it...making sure that the coaches told the refs...and Chris was called two times for it...i thought it was pretty funny....cuz the look the on Chris's face after it was called for the second time...he couldn't help but smile a little...lol

Take a look at the AMAROWNED.mpg video that has been floating around here. Unlike the animated gif in this thread, the .mpg has a clock. Webber’s foot first touches paint at 0:04.1. Brad still has the ball in his hands at 0:01.1 (and at 0:01.0, for that matter).

Not only was Webb called for the travels, I remember Antoine Walker also got called for it too. It was a weird game...lots of traveling call.

Hmm...I think the point of this thread...Webb may had travel? But no call...Amare goaltends. But no call too? Ok, so the point is the refs aren't doing their job. ;)

Yeah, Webber was in the paint over three seconds.

So we can all conclude that officals are poor in what they do and they miss obivous calls that can have a game altering result.

The only thing unusual about the game was that the officials, instead of making a call, conferring among themselves and making a call or concluding, after conferring that the "no call" was proper and advising Adelman, decided to just walk off the court with no comment/no guts. Everthing else that happened in the game is something that happens in every game.

I agree, I see numerous instances of traveling every game, and in general it is not called. If they had called traveling on that play after not playing all game, things would have gotten even hotter.

I would say that the 3 seconds and traveling are called 1 out of every 10 times during most every game. Goaltending over the rim is closer to 99 times out of 100.
