Yeh it will be interesting to see what happens at center, with the role players who showed promise (Big Sneeze, Plowden, Carter) and what they do about the financial problem.
Feeling good about the young guys and having 4/5th best odds as opposed to having slightly better odds but feeling absolutely terrible about the young guys already on the roster is probably a healthier place to be as a fanbase
misery season part 1 complete. I give props to those of you who put yourselves through that for 82, trying to find even the slightest glimmer of reason to watch
It wasn't nearly as bad as I feared at the start of the season. When they finally embraced the youth movement it got a lot more intriguing, and as the lottery drew closer we finally had something to hope for again.
All I can say is I’m glad it’s over. Glad the kids are promising. Glad Doug will be back. Glad we’ll get a decent pick, and glad The Kings are still in Sac. Looking forward to the off season and the draft and see what develops next year!
Unlike last off-season, I intend to ignore the whole thing completely. I am intrigued by whether the Thunder can win it all, but beyond that, I plan to watch the World Cup in Canada, USA, and Mexico.
Yeah. Said this last night, but the core we've seen the last few games+Domas/Keegan/top 5 rookie and there's something here. The young guys are all actually bought in and seemingly really embracing being apart of the Kings.
The rookie will need to be the franchise changer, but I think there's a lot of really good depth and a lot of pieces that can be apart of a winner already here.
Let Russ walk, buy-out the option on DDR, find a way to use LaVine's big expiring this summer.
Guards: Carter/Monk/Nique
Wings: Keegan/Hunter/Plowden
Bigs: Domas/Cardwell/Maxime
Depending on who the rookie is, strongly consider bringing Precious back. Plowden fills the back end of the rotation/depth.
