I’m just glad management didn’t listen to me on draft night. I was hoping for Tyrese Procter with the 42nd pick.
I knew y'all would love Maxime!

Admittedly, I WAS a bit biased towards him leading up to the draft, but there was just something about the kid that I saw throughout his time at Stanford that convinced me that he should be a King. Especially when it became a bit clear that the opportunity would've been there to grab him.

Next half hopefully we see less DeMar set ups. Just let the young guys roll. Maybe run some offense through Maxime and see what he can do. This is the most predictable offense ever. Set a screen for DeMar on the weakside, enter ball into mid post. Over and over. It's ugly.

While I am still confident that having monk working with the young players moving into next season is the key to putting together something that works that being said monk really needs to work on being effective when his shot goes south. He’s a good facilitator, but he needs to step that up.

The gulf between Precious Achiuwa and Patrick Baldwin is huge but I’m not sure which player it actually says something about.

You mean, like noted French fitness icon Boris Diaw?
Boris of course and an off joke about stamina, and a stereotype of French men and their strong confidence in certain abilities. This is a family channel though so I attempted to keep it clean.
Go Kings, I mean Hornets, no Kings

I was UMBO (Unrivaled Might Be On) until about three weeks ago.

My friend got me to watch a few Unrivaled games last month after I helped her install a new TV mount and they were quite entertaining. I was pleasantly surprised how much fun the games were considering 3-on-3 basketball was such a dud of an event at the last two Summer Olympics.

I just got home. Why is this game so lop-sided? Is it that the Hornets shoot more 3s than 2s, and are hitting them at a 50% clip?

Kon Knueppel is the Rookie of the Year, but he's not going to get it, for the same reason why Jason Williams didn't get it in '99.

Yeah, that is exactly what it is. There is very much a "when it rains it pours" element to modern NBA offenses.
Summarily LaMelo jacking up 30 footers with 20 seconds on the clock is unstoppable when he’s making them and terrible game-killing stupidity when he’s not.
