What blows my mind is Vivek can sit courtside game after game and no one boos him. No one starts a sell the team chant. Nothing. Maybe Sacramento fans are too soft. In all my years as a 49er fan Jed York has been ravaged by the fans. He’s been thoroughly embarassed on national television. As an A’s fan we had plenty of signs in the stadium, boycotted games, etc. is Vivek untouchable here in sac, no matter how bad he screws this up?

Well, like tonight for example. He gets personalities like Joey from nSynch to help light the beam. How can anyone question that?

I am all for tanking, but I dont know what else we could do tonight to get a lost. Went back to Russ in clutch time? I mean we were playing two guards shooting less than 20% from threes.
If the kings were serious about tanking they would have bought out Russ and sent him packing. Cut derozans minutes back to nothing and not played monk. Was that not possible?

Can you honestly say, looking at Carter, Clifford, Hayes, Plowden, and Raynaud after the game, that it was meaningless to them?

I could explain once again why winning is important for young players, but it would not change your mind, or the minds of most of the fans here, so why bother?
We are lucky if 2 of these guys end up being bench players when we are next relevant. Next year if our #7 pick is leading us to victories ill sing a different tune.

He saved the team and is eternally praised because of it. I mean thankfully he stepped up. But that grace has worn off as far as im concerned.
He will raise ticket prices in the face of a 15 win season after he destroyed this team with Zach lavine, and fans will continue gobbling it up.

I met him in person once, and found him to be an insincere schmoozer. Certainly he has not done a good job of stewarding the team.

But - and this pays all! - Sacramento has one major professional sports team almost solely due to him. I am not so foolish as to even consider booing the man that saved the Kings, however I might think of him otherwise, and so long as he keeps the team in Sacramento that will not change. You can be sure that most Kings fans who know the history feel the same, and give him the respect he deserves for making the Kings remain the Sacramento Kings against all odds.
