Worried about lavin like he's some rookie. He's not going to suck just because he got traded. I dont understand these people turning on a two time allstar. As if we where never down 15 with Fox in our lives.
People aren't turning on him, they've just never watched him for more than a few games a season before. It's the same reason why fans sour on Buddy Hield once they actually have to watch him play 80 times a year. In LaVine's case, he's always played like this. He made the All-Star game twice because he played in the Eastern Conference and All Star votes are popularity contests and team achievement awards.

It sucks for this year that the schedule is as tough as it is down the stretch. If the Kings can't speed up the gelling process it's going to be a tough haul but if Monte didn't see it as the likely outcome short term then he doesn't understand the game. This is such a huge chunk of the rotation changing on top of a new coach that those odds are what they are.

Call be gullible but I still have faith we can get in playoffs. But we do need to switch this starting lineup up. We can't keep staring in the hole every dam game

Honestly I’m at peace with whatever happens this season. I’m not going to be miserable for the rest of the year, that doesn’t sound like fun. Hopefully we can make the playoffs but the biggest thing is to learn what we can about the collection of players we have and map out a new path for next season. See what Fultz has, figure out the best way to maximize Lavine. Get more growth out of Keegan and Keon and Devin. Short term goals are improving chemistry, reducing turnovers and just playing together. Long term we have plenty of ammo to change to the course of the team in the offseason.

Now with all of the new assets is the dribble handoff offense the right system for us? Does the system fit the skills on the team/core? Im curious what you all think
Brown basically already kind of ditched it this season. Well, for him at least. On paper this team should potentially be better with it than with Fox/Monk TBH although the tip top of where it takes you is anyones guess. If it's still mediocrity then lateral it was. Just throwing guys out there in it is going to take time. This season the Kings are short on time but it is what it is. These moves weren't just about this season or they better not have been. Reality says that the odds point towards this team needing an offseason to develop but they have shown glimpses already. The break coming right after wholesale changes is no excuse but it can't be denied either.
