Maybe we're just misunderstanding the actual game... if you have to go against the best to beat the best, who better to test your tanking mettle against than the he perennially tanking Utah Jazz?

It really reminds me of the 2012 Olympics women's badminton group-stage match. 🏀 🏸

To the extent that the Process™ worked, it only "worked" because Hinkie is a sociopath who sees players as assets rather than people. He didn't care whether any of the players he drafted before he connected on his homerun swing developing bad habits or a loser's mentality, because he didn't actually care about developing any of them, and didn't intend for anyone who was there before he got his Golden Ticket to still be there afterwards.

To all those folks who think tanking is a good idea for the Sacramento Kings: after tonight, your team will not have a winning season until the next decade. Your young studs are learning one big lesson: how to lose and play like losers.

That's a big lesson that will be hard to unlearn.

Christie can't coach. He has the worst offense ive ever seen. Ive seen better pickup games with more order. Its literally screen pass iso repeat. Ive haven't seen a single drawn up play thst was good from him all season.

I almost forgot coaches draw up plays out of time outs with this guy.

We might as well throw these players away. There is tanking and then there is developing losers we are developing losers

Eh, depends on what's going on in the locker room. We have to see what they look like in home games. That's the only time they'll even have a chance to work on some things in practice. The Kings are finally giving a real chance for these young guys to play and there's no better learning than playing against legit NBA talent. There will be ups and downs but these games will better prepare these guys heading into summer over just watching losing bball.

We had one winning season in like 18 years actively trying not to tank. What’s the difference? Lmao

Also, not for nothing, but I feel like there's a huge ****ing difference between watching lazy veterans going through the motions, and watching young players' spirits get broken in real time.
Prob had there spirits broken way earlier than this when they couldn't see the floor while over the hill vets pissed the season away.

If you cant beat out a Westbrook who nobody else wanted and at least get spot min, id doubt myself too

I don’t care how ugly they lose or how much they tank this season. No one will be complaining when our top 3 pick takes over the league in 2-3 years. Miss me with that BS
Unless he doesn't, because he's playing on a team full of losers, for an organization that doesn't know how to put a team around him, or develop that talent they do have.

Lmao name one young stud on this roster? Our best young talent is Keegan and he’s nowhere close to a stud

Why is "stud" where you draw the line? Why are you acting like you won't need complementary pieces when you finally get your "stud"? Do you think you can afford to wait until after you get him before you start looking for/developing those?
