There is no room over there, it happens too often. It slows the game and is pointless.
If you want to argue that we should widen the court, that's one thing. But you can't just ignore "little" infractions, because what counts as "little"? Then, if you define "little", how can you argue that you can't commit a "kinda bigger" infraction?

Sometimes rules don't get very consistently enforced (traveling, carrying, lane violations, 3 seconds...) Every time it is a mistake and an invitation for more rule breaking.

I’m willing to ignore this infraction because it’s pointless and provides no real advantage to the offensive player. I suppose another solution would be to have 4 inch “heel zone” along that baseline that would prevent 99 percent of these calls.

I'd rather just eliminate the corner three entirely. Make the arc a flattened parabola (not a circle) and have it meet the sideline about the level of the FT line. Problem solved.
