Gotta look at things in context, too: coming off the big win in Boston, this is a game that the Kings would have lost before Christie took over. That alone makes it a good win.
Absolutely. Actually, I’m convinced we would have been nearly blown off of the court before this coaching change. The Bulls have the exact kind of team that typically gave us fits.

We can let future come before we worry.

Especially as fans, as long as they are producing a good product out there, which by my count, as long as they fight and play hard every game to give themselves a chance to win that's good enough for me, I'm fine to just enjoying the ride.
I’ve always said I just wanna root for the team to win every day. We’re getting that chance again.

Ufff, 48 minutes long nail biter. Bulls scored 'just' 24 points in the 4th q and that was it for them.
Anyway, ugly or not, Kings did what they had to do - got a W.
Feels like Kings now are obliged to take care of Bucks too, ain't it ;)

Yea I need to be realistic when it comes to the Bucks. Yes they will probably win, but I would at least like to see the Kings be competitive and not make it easy for them. I mean the Bucks are no insanely flawless team like the Cleveland Cavaliers, but they are still incredibly strong. I feel like the Bucks have been playing better than their record shows, but hey that's just me. I can be wrong.

Exactly, Doug didn't avoid defense at the end. He didn't totally run to it either, but i'm pretty sure one of Carter,Ellis, or Keegan were out there the entire quarter and it showed up in hustle and defense. Under Brown those aren't stops, either the Kings score 35 or they lose. Which they did more often than not.

On one hand, the Bucks will have arguably the two best players in the building, and the sort of length that typically renders the Kings anaphylactic.

On the other hand, they also have Doc Rivers.

Honestly, I think it really comes to the respect we have as an organization, as a team, for our opponents. This is how you can make a case for why Mike Brown was badly coaching the team before he was fired. This game by no means looked pretty, nor any of our players looked like they had a great stroke with the ball, but when it comes to the latter half of the game, winning is the only option for Coach Christie and he's willing to keep switching things up just to get the best 5 of our roster out there to inch out the somewhat difficult win.

It's a great win to me.
Last year it was infuriating how many games we lost to bad teams. It’s becoming more evident that brown didn’t respect our opponents. Yes some of the blame lands on the players but what we’re seeing now is night and day

7-0 after his first practice with the team
You can say whatever about the Lakers game. I think Doug killed it in the press conference afterwards when he was asked about Keon and said “he’s important to this team. He just needs to shoot more.” I think that helped everyone get the trust and confidence that they were lacking under the Brown regime.

7-1 under Doug. I don’t think even the biggest homer with the purplest glasses would expect something like this
How true. But is he really 7-1?

That first game was played without a practice by him and with the game plan set by Brown. There was really no chance for a fully "Christie" team game. As far as I'm concerned, he is 7-0 as the full head coach. The Kings are now his team to lead.

EDIT: Ooops. Point already made as I posted.
