well it makes sense for the clippers. I would like to get one of their 1st rounders at least. Not sure how we would use the trade exception. Or if we would.

Well think of it this way we could use the trade exception for a FA next in a sign and trade deal. The make us a major buyer in the market next year. Speeds up our rebuild by year or two.

How long have the Clips had the excemptions and when do they expire. The Warriors have a 9 mil trade excemption, but I think its about to expire if they don't use it, or if they don't trade it, which I believe renews it for another year.

I must say that if we can infact get an exception that big, I would pee my pants in excitement. This seems to good to be true. Just shedding 15mil of cap sounds like a wonderful trade for ron. Good work my friend.

Where is the talent in return? Where is the draft pick?

I'd like to think we could get one or both of those as well as expirings for Artest. It's not a bad trade for everyone as a whole, but I wouldn't do it from the Kings perspective because I would want more than cap relief for one of the better two-way players in the league.

Look at what the Lakers paid to get Gasol...an expiring, a young PG and two first round picks.

Come deadline time there could be a feeding frenzy for Artest.
