Don't know if any of you caught it but last night during the King's telecast Grant was referencing an upcoming game w/ the Lakers and Jerry just kinda coyly retorts w/ his understated twist of sarcasm, "oh yeah, the Los Angeles Kobes." For some reason that really got me. My son and i just couldn't stop laughing.

What I'm tripping out over right now is the fact that everybody seems to want to talk about what the Lakers did, and Kobe this and Kobe that, and nobody wants to talk about how well Charlotte played... 22pts 25reb 4blk by Okafor gets incidental mention, 22/4/15/2 by Felton doesn't get mentioned at ALL, neither does the 28/8/2/2/1 by Wallace? How about Matt F. Carroll dropping a career-high 27, including four three-pointers? I mean, I realize that this board is about ninety-eight percent Kings Fans, one and a half percent Lakers fans, and half a percent for everybody else, but can't Charlotte get some love?

Oh yeah, i've been wanting to comment about Gerald Wallace for some time because the boy has been on a tear and doing all the things i hoped he could do w/ the Sacramento Kings. Couldn't feel happier for him and did my share of grieving over losing him.

Oddly enough i was really hopin we could swing a deal to get Okafor back when he wasn't considered much of a threat for his game or his bad back but then what's the use.

Some people just don't get it.

This is a Kings board. A lot of people hate the Lakers and Kobe! We don't deny that he's good; some even have him on their fantasy teams. It's just that we're not going to feel bad for any of their losses or misfortunes; on the contrary, we just might enjoy them.

We know our team is losing and is struggling to get back to .500 but we still have the right to enjoy Lakers losses!

Kobe will never get his props in this board. W/O kobe, there the Lakers would have lost by 50 points. As must as the degrade and berrate Kobe, Kobe will always be a winner, something that "other" players and fans can only dream of achieving.
