Mister Slim Says: Still hoping for a strong showing in December to right the ship, the Kings are off to a... decent-ish (?) start, going 2-2 in their first four games this month (should have been 3-1). Next they get the Jazz, whom they've beaten six times in a row, and eight of their last nine, and missing at least one (and possibly two) of their three best players. Needless to say that a letdown tonight would be unacceptable. Sacramento absolutely needs to win this game, and go into the "We Gettin' Arab Money" Cup break with a little confidence.

I was hoping he was going to get a ton of minutes before Lyles gets back. The games are pretty spread out over the next two weeks I think so he could find himself out of the rotation by the end of next week. Or maybe he takes a decent amount of the back up 5 minutes

Mr. Monk is due to go off any game now. He has not really had that big scoring game this season. It helps that he has DeRozan's confidence as they have played together a lot more minutes. Likewise, both Fox and Monk know where to feed DeMar the ball.

I think the right knee is still bothering Monk, though. He keeps it wrapped with a sleeve on the court.

I mean he's averaging

20.3 PPG
7.3 APG
4.8 RPG
45.7% 3pt (8.75 3PA/game)
66.7% TS

as a starter. I think that qualifies as "going off" for me.
